INDUSTRY DAYS AT RIO, 10-12 MARCH
Tempo Documentary Festival invites the Swedish film industry to a three-day intensive programme at the Rio Film Theatre. The aim is to provide a professional and informal forum for inspiration, further discussion and debate, with a view to facilitating new creative collaborations.

A number of exciting Swedish and international guests will visit these events, making Rio the self-evident place for meeting industry colleagues during the festival, where both the seminar programme and industry networking events will take place.

Industry Days are presented in collaboration with the Swedish Film Institute, Filmregion Stockholm – Mälardalen, SVT, Filmkontakt Nord, EDN – European Documentary Network, MEDIADESK Sweden, Dramatiska Intitutet and Film Stockholm.

INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION
Industry Accreditation costs 350 kronor and applications should be received by 24th February. Following this, accreditation is available until 3rd March, on payment of a further 100 kr administration fee.

Industry accreditation includes:

· Admission to all Industry Events at Rio
· A maximum of 10 pre-bookable tickets
· Admission to other programme events and awards ceremonies, depending on available space.

Pre-booked tickets
As an additional benefit, we are pleased to offer the possibility to pre-book a maximum of 10 tickets. As it is not possible to exchange pre-booked tickets, it is important to decide which screenings to attend prior to applying for accreditation. Pre-booked tickets will be sent by post by 5th March at the latest. It is not possible to book tickets after the 3rd March accreditation deadline.

Industry Networking Events
As an industry-accredited guest you are also welcome to our industry networking events with other guests and filmmakers during the festival. These take place at Rio 17.00 – 18.00 on 11th and 12th March.

Collection of Accreditation
Collection of accreditation is available from the Press/Accreditation Desk during the festival (10th – 14th March) at Hotell Scandic Malmen, Götgatan 49–51 (T-bana: Medborgarplatsen). Opening Times: Wednesday 15.00–18.00, Thursday 11.00–18.00, Friday 11.00–18.00, Saturday 11.00–18.00 and Sunday 11.00–14.00.

In this year’s main theme we presented 21 inspiring, moving and relevant documentary films from Africa. There were also events and interesting guests visiting the festival to discuss their films.

In Top of the Docs we show the best documentary films from the major festivals.

Documentaries on and by artists

For many years now, video art has had a close affinity to documentarism, an aspect this year’s festival want to acknowledge by jointly presenting art videos/documentaries by artists exploring sociological phenomena relating to a globalised world.

Music Docs!

Punk is prominent in this year’s MUSIC DOCS. Meet South Africa’s Sex Pistols FOKOFPOLISIEKAR, The muslim punk band TAQWACORE and PANSY DIVISION, pioneers in the genre of queercore.
